Who We Are: Your Local Print Shop
World Digital Imaging is a locally-owned digital printing company in Beavercreek, Ohio (a suburb of Dayton, Ohio). During 2023, we’re celebrating 25 years in business! We first incorporated in late 1997 and opened as a small print shop in January 1998, offering local printing in downtown Dayton. Thereafter we expanded and moved our digital printing business to Beavercreek in 2006. We are now located at 1138 Richfield Center, just off of Route 35.
Our team currently includes an office administrator, several graphic designers, production staff, and a delivery driver. We’re ready to move your digital printing project quickly from start to finish! Several staff members will handle your order as it is completed. This ensures many eyes will check it for accuracy.
When you place an order, the Office Administrator will receive it. This may be over the phone, in person, or by email. Next you’ll receive a quote for your job. Then our in-house graphic designers will create your design and provide a proof. Or if you have provided files, they will check that your job is print-ready. Finally, after a proof is approved, our production staff will print and package your job.
What We Do: Digital Printing
Overall, we are a digital printing company. We can make simple copies or send digital files from one of our 12+ computers to one of 40+ digital printers. Being a digital printer means we offer quicker turn times and lower minimum quantities.
Over the years, we’ve continued to expand our printing capabilities, products, and services. We have four specialties: Design, Print, Prepare, and Mail. Thus, we can produce almost any print job from start to finish.
Our print shop also maintains a full-service Bindery & Finishing department. We have a full range of machinery & equipment for cutting, scoring, folding, stuffing, drilling, laminating, tabbing, punching, saddle-stitching, and binding.

How We Work: Inside Our Print Shop
We boast almost 15,000 square feet of production space and a fleet of over 40 digital printers. Thus, we can produce even the most demanding print jobs quickly. We maintain the high quality our customers have come to expect, at a price point unrivaled in Ohio’s Miami Valley!

- 2 Canon ImagePress digital color printers
- 6 Xanté envelope presses
- 6 KIP blueprint machines

Our Philosophy: Machine Rescue
By and large, we are copier people. Our founder Craig Howick spent many years in the copier business. From the start, he realized copiers/printers had a LOT of life left when traded in for shiny new models. With this in mind, rescuing used digital printing equipment was his motivation to create this company. Further, extending the life of pre-owned machines allows us to offer our clients affordable, local printing.
Thus, we proudly operate on a unique business philosophy: digital printing equipment recycling. Rather than acquiring pricy new copiers/digital printers, we reclaim used and off-lease machines. Indeed, we’ve been a “green” company since the start of our print shop almost 25 years ago. So we continue to keep used equipment out of landfills!

Since our business model is based upon using recycled copiers/digital printers, we can produce unbelievably affordable printing. At the same time, we keep quality high. Every customer is undeniably important to us, as each one is important to the community they serve. We know budgets are tight. Accordingly, we want to help you work within yours.
